Good morning everyone, my crypto friends. Wake up faster, the most important topic we have today!

Losing virtual coins is not as difficult as it might seem, so they need to be secured.

How can you store a crypt at all? Let's analyze all the methods.

1. On a cold wallet.

This is such a thing, like a flash drive (as in the picture). Well, it is practically IMPOSSIBLE to steal cryptocurrency from it, because it does not have constant access to the Internet. Well, a hacker can't hack an iron, can he?

This is perhaps the safest way of storing, but it is infernally inconvenient - if you want to send currency, accept, exchange, cash out, then a little trip to hell awaits you.

So what exactly for storage - it will go (most importantly, do not drop it into the river), I do not recommend it for active crypto users.

2. On a crypto exchange.

The answer is simple: don't. If you actively trade, some part can be entrusted to the site (so as not to transfer 100 times back and forth and not pay commissions), but the exchanges are not safe, friends.

For a simple reason - they HACKED, and coins are stolen.

So if you bought bitcoin on binance in the long term, immediately withdraw the coins to your wallet.

3. Non-custodial wallets.

Externally, this is a common coin storage application on your phone or PC. But! The entrance is carried out only by a seed-phrase of 12 or 24 words, written in the desired order.

Literally:

When registering, the wallet gives you 12 random words, for example:

"1. squirrel 2. bangs 3. ditch 4. scissors 5 ...", only in English,

and NO ONE will hack into your wallet unless they enter these words in a specific order.

This is one of the safest ways of storing, with one but - if you lose those 12 words, go to waste. The wallet cannot be restored in any way.

Therefore, the seed phrase should be written down on a piece of paper and stored like the apple of an eye, but it is better to memorize it.

Outcome:

Store your coins in a non-custodial wallet or on a cold storage medium (this is entourage), but certainly not on the exchange.
