no need for zip codes in cali for instore

According to cnn the high court in cali as ruled that when shopping the retailers can't request you zip code. thats all i saw pretty sure i can read well lol. hopefully someone can get a link or something. just sharing before i am off to my 9 to 5 job

looks like merchants can still use zip code for verification of cards. But when it comes to storing the zip codes in a database for marketing purposes. its a no no
