Do you like super/hypermarkets like me? I think so. That's why I wanted to write an article about shoplifting. This description contains personal experience and the system of video surveillance and security in stores.

Let's begin.

The first place to get thief experience is Auchan. This wonderful hypermarket always has a huge, tsunami-like flow of people, very few cameras and many "dead" zones*.

*blind zones are areas of the hypermarket that cannot be viewed completely or are only partially obstructed by video surveillance.

It is clear that no hypermarket can do without a security service (hereinafter SS).

The security service includes the security staff of the private security company with which the contract is signed, the shift supervisor, the head of security, and often the head of the security service. And if they stole something from the risk group goods (more on that later), then the store administrator screws the head of the security service, who screws the head of the security service, and from there it goes down to the ordinary security guard working the “takeout” shift.

As a rule, such thefts occur due to the human factor - the video surveillance operator did not watch carefully, or the cashier, but most often due to the presence of "dead" zones. And in order to prevent such incidents, the most dangerous individuals of the security field - detectives (in security jargon - dodiki) are released into the hall. These same dodiki walk through dead zones, or near risk goods (electronics, headphones and other crap) under the guise of ordinary buyers, but their appearance gives them away as a private security company employee, namely:
- constantly walks alone (or with a partner) with an empty basket, or one filled with random slag, right next to the departments I described;
- as a rule, the appearance of idiots resembles guys from the category - "COME HERE" or "WHO?!";
- maybe they stand in the player section, flip through magazines with "tits and asses" and shoot 180 degrees around with one eye, and as soon as they spot something wrong, they disappear to the side and buzz the operator on the mobile phone or radio with the name of the department and the suspect's description.

In general, it's easy to burn these characters, walk around the above-mentioned places for 10-15 minutes with a cart, without raising suspicion, and you'll probably see the same idiot conspirator twice, or even three times.
We've dealt with the infantry, now it's time for video surveillance.

There are a ton of different cameras, but the most brutal are the dome ones, and after them the wide-angle stationary ones.

Dome video camera:

Wide-angle (we often see these on city highways):

Wide-angle cameras of this type are found (extremely rarely in stores, more often in business centers, parking lots and parking areas):
Dome cameras are a complete ditch, it has a very cool zoom, plus it rotates 360 degrees, and a person controls it with a special remote control (Dewar) and if you are caught stealing, they will follow you to the last. I was told many different things about this camera, the point is that from 50 meters you can count all the change in an open wallet, from 80 (approximately) you can see pimples on your face and cellulite on your ass, and from 100 meters at maximum zoom you can still see your face in general terms.

Wide-angle cameras do not have any zoom, but they have a 180-degree viewing angle and they serve to scroll through the recordings from all stationary cameras in case of an unnoticed theft and identify the thief, take a photo, print it out and distribute it to all security personnel in the morning before their shift. If the thief thinks: - "Oh, damn, I'll go steal some more!" - one of the guards will most likely recognize the thief, inform the video surveillance operator about your visit and he, rubbing his hands, will "lead" you as long as the camera allows. If he sees that the thief has stolen again, he will inform the security guards standing at the checkout line about it, the crook will be allowed to calmly walk almost to the exit, and then the jubilant crook will be secured and taken to the inspection room, if there is none, to the security room and they will start loading. I'll describe the gruzilov a little later, but now let's talk about this. The thief was recognized, but he entered the "dead zone" and it is impossible to understand whether he is lying or not, but this is definitely the same crook. In this case, there are 2 options:

- the head of security, or the Security Service are waiting for the return of a crook who wants to repeat his past exploits, and have already cut the video from the stationary cameras in order to meet him, so to speak, with open arms and quickly start loading the thief and brazenly fasten him at the exit;
- the video hasn't been cut yet, but the thief has been identified, I send his description to the nearest security guard and he triggers the anti-theft frames with a "spoon" (in security guard jargon, a spoon is an anti -theft alarm that is either given to each security guard or placed in certain places known to the security guards.) The security guard holds the alarm either in his fist and discreetly passes it near the frame when the thief leaves, it doesn't matter where he holds it, but they know how to trigger the frames - 100% fact.

If you are caught stealing, I do not recommend beating the security guards on the horn under any circumstances, if you live in the same city where the store is located. Until force is used, it is still theft, and after force is used, it is robbery. And if you do not write up the security guards for being screwed, then it is easy to get off the topic (more on that below), if you attack the security guards, then the shift supervisor will go and give you a drink. In 4 out of 5 cases, everything is solved with money, regardless of the amount stolen, and if you are caught, then you need to immediately say in the inspection room:
- Guys, I know everything and can solve the problem.
And it would be just perfect if the entire amount was in hand at once, if not, then you need to notify the guards and call friends to bring the money, or leave something as collateral and go get the money yourself.

Security guards call the cops only if the offender is insolvent and most often the cops will fuck them up as best they can, because often the video is either not made in advance or is made clumsily by the head of security. And according to the law, cops cannot be kept in the department for more than 2 hours without being charged and, by the way, that is why it is better to steal in the evening, since all the security bosses are already home at 6- 7 o'clock and the shift supervisor is in charge, who can only call the boss to formally report the caught thief. The boss will always give the go-ahead to pay off the thief.

In absolutely all stores, security guards have a so-called "common fund", this is the money that crooks use to pay for stolen goods, which in turn also remain in the store. They keep this money and save it in case of unsolved thefts, so as not to pay the cashier from their own pockets.
Usually, the money is kept in plastic "patacas" with an alarm inside, and this miracle box can be opened either with a magnet or a hammer).
I've strayed a bit from the topic. In general, security doesn't need to put a thief in jail, they have a different job specifics, first let him steal, and then slap him and fill up their "common fund". Often you can notice an abnormal absence of security guards in the department where he was hanging around 5 minutes before theft, if this happens, I strongly recommend throwing the stolen goods on the shelf without being noticed and heading for the exit, if they register them empty, and for the first time, then you need to go with the security guard to the inspection room and when they get upset, you can show off and be sure to pay attention to whether the security guards have a license, quite often they recruit people from the provinces who have never even seen a license. And if there is a security officer without a license, at least one, and ideally if it is the one who detained you, then you can scare them with the licensing and permitting service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, you can even call the police and report a blatant case of lawlessness, so that the same service will come and fuck the entire shift in a checkerboard pattern, both in tail and in mane. But this is already at your discretion.

Unfortunately, I could not find badges of licensed security guards, I will describe in words - it is not an ordinary, standard-sized badge from a kiosk for 10 rubles, firstly, it is several times larger, not in plastic, but in a polymer case, it must have a photo of the guard, full name, the coat of arms of the LRO MVD and it is always white or bluish in a mesh, visually similar to the license for a traumatic weapon. Plus, the guard must always have a private security guard ID with him and if all the attributes are not there, then you can make some noise.

All badges of this kind are worn by unlicensed security guards, who can do the most with any buyer or crook, so as not to refuse the essential - to give a cigarette, or change for beer. That's all our powers are, as it were, uh, actually, that's all. (c)

After a long description of the internal order and work of the security, I would like to finish the story with advice on committing thefts.

First of all, you need to dress more decently, I won't write why this is necessary, it's clear as day.

Never go into a store twice in one day to steal something big.

Before the theft, it is imperative to blur out the presence of cameras, their type, and to burn out the "blind spots". All this must be done under the guise of a buyer, because if you first walk around and look the operator in the eye through the cameras, then with the greatest probability you will be burned and will be led. One day you study everything, with purchases at the checkout, and in a couple of days you can steal something.

The best way to steal small items is on the go, when moving from department to department, covering the item with a mobile phone, for example, and putting it in your pocket. It is best to cover it with a piece of paper, like a shopping list.

Always walk with a basket or a cart and put what you plan to take out there first. And after a few departments, take it out to study the composition and put it in your pocket.

You should never fuss, look around, you should always be a "gaper".

It is better to steal large goods in dead zones, in a bag. You can argue with a random request from a security guard to show the contents of a bag and tell him that the frames did not work for the passage - go for a walk, Vasya. If he touches you with his hands, we delicately ask you not to wrinkle the suit, three of them will block the way, we scare the cops, because this is an illegal detention and you have not violated the rules of the store, and they are going too far, after all, there are intimate things in the bag. It works - 100%, the main thing is not to get confused (let me remind you, if they caught you stealing, they would immediately ask you to go into the room, and then show the bag), but there is a nuance - the security guard can follow you out into the street and chase you (I have only heard of such cases with Russian Railways security, 2 guards were chasing a man and a woman who had gone without a ticket, and when they entered the courtyards, the man wrote them up and that's it, there is even a video on twoytruba.com). The security guards themselves piss on the thieves, because every morning the shift supervisor tells them that we have no right to do anything at all, only to call the cops and watch the thief or take him home.

It is better to open boxes on the shelves of departments where fewer people walk. But it is better to choose shelves with some frying pans or teapots - no one looks through such departments, only if they are leading.

Risk group goods include: players, mobile phones, laptops, cameras, accessories for them, as well as branded headphones, mice, and other branded gadgets. These departments are always under close supervision every minute. It is better to steal from these departments in pairs - one takes, puts in another department and reports the location, the second comes and finishes the job. It is better to put it on the above-mentioned shelves or in dead zones. If you steal a lot, then you will not set foot in the store for a long time. 100% they will wait.

Always go through the checkout with some purchases to pay for.

Well, I've described it in general terms on 3 and a half pages, in conclusion I want to add that it is dangerous to steal from electronics stores on any day, with the exception of Black Fridays and other cool sales, which are attended by whole crowds of people. In LeToiles, too, it's not always the same. Always monitor the situation, don't panic and be healthy! Good luck to everyone, thank you for your attention!
