Hi , is cloning cards still working in 2026 ? I heard that because of the EMV chips it makes it really difficult to clone cards but I heard it is still possible by a chip-reading process known as shimming. Can anyone explain this process ?

Hello!
Yes, card cloning will continue to work in 2026 under the following conditions:
- Working software for recording data
- Required equipment and materials (MSR, white plastic)
- A valid, region-free card dump

If you record data (track 1 + track 2 + PIN) only on the magnetic stripe without the EMV chip, then to successfully cash the cloned card, you will need to find older ATM models that do not access the EMV chip.

To correctly record the dump and the EMV chip, you need to obtain working IST files, after which you can cash the cloned card at any modern ATM.

Guides on how to correctly record dumps (create cloned cards) can be found on the forum in the "Real Carding" section..

HI, where I can buy information for cloning cards, such as magnetic stripe with PIN. I already have all the tools. The only thing I'm missing is the software. What do you recommend I use if I have an MSRX6BT Bluetooth Magnetic Credit Card Reader? I also have the HID® OMNIKEY® 312. And also blank cards with chips. If you could please provide me with links on where I can get this information, it would be a great help.

Please note, if you want to make a deal with this user, that it is blocked.

Hello bro, from your post I can see you are new to the carding and fraud game and interested in making fast and easy money since your first choice is cloning which is dead in 2026. Why not get into hacked crypto logs since they are easy to cashout? It is easy money since I use live logs with active session cookies which helps bypass 2fa easily during cashout. I transfer the balance to my drop and use cake wallet to exchange the coins to xmr for OPSEC reasons since anonymity is key. You just need to follow the right steps and master the tricks in the game to avoid burning the logs and you will easily make big money in less time. I make averagely $80k/week from sauce. All you need to get started is a pc, stable internet and onetime initial capital to cater for your first live log and cashout tools as you will be reinvesting back only a small percentage from your profits DM on telegram and I will easily guide you from there since communication is much faster. Proofs available and I also accept escrow deals to build trust

Part 2: Software and Drivers for Your HID OMNIKEY 3121 Smart Card Reader

The OMNIKEY 3121 is a professional PC/SC-compliant smart card reader used in banking, healthcare, and identity management applications. The NHS (UK National Health Service) specifically supports the Omnikey 3121 as a standalone smartcard reader.

Official HID Global CCID Driver

The most critical software component is the CCID Driver, which allows the reader to communicate with your computer.

SpecificationDetails
Reader ModelHID OMNIKEY 3121 USB Card Reader
Driver NameCCID Driver for OMNIKEY readers
Hardware IDsVID_076B&PID_3031, VID_076B&PID_3021

Driver Date (NHS reference)04/08/2021 for VID_076B&PID_3031, 25/05/2017 for VID_076B&PID_3021

How to Download:
  1. Go to www.hidglobal.com/omnikey
  2. Navigate to the Drivers & Downloads section
  3. Filter by product: "HID OMNIKEY 3121" or "OMNIKEY"
  4. Filter by operating system (Windows 10, Windows 11, Linux, etc.)
  5. Download the CCID Driver package

Critical Warning from NHS Digital: "When connected to a machine, most smartcard readers are automatically assigned a generic driver labelled 'Microsoft USB CCID Smartcard Reader (WUDF)'. This is not the correct driver to use for standalone smartcard readers, as it can cause issues... so it's vital to install the manufacturer's drivers."

Driver Installation Notes:
  • The HID Omnikey X-Chip MSI contains two optional driver components:
    • BU component: Supports the 3121 readers (hardware ID VID_076B&PID_3021)
    • RU component: Supports the 5321CR contactless reader

OMNIKEY Workbench Tool

The Workbench Tool is a development and diagnostic utility that provides advanced functionality for testing and configuring OMNIKEY readers.

Part 5: Important Technical Considerations

MSRX6BT and Magnetic Stripe Encoding

Your MSRX6BT is specifically designed for magnetic stripe cards only. It cannot read or write to the EMV chip on your blank chip cards. The chip and the magnetic stripe are two completely separate technologies. The EasyMSR software can only read/write Tracks 1, 2, and 3 of the magnetic stripe.

OMNIKEY 3121 Driver Installation

  • The driver file naming convention may include "BU" or "RU" components: The BU component supports the 3121 reader (hardware ID VID_076B&PID_3021), and the RU component supports the 5321CR contactless reader
  • Driver Date (as of NHS documentation): 04/08/2021 for VID_076B&PID_3031; 25/05/2017 for VID_076B&PID_3021
  • Windows Update: If you are on Windows 10 or later, the driver may download automatically when you plug in the reader (if Windows Update is enabled). However, the NHS explicitly warns against using the generic Microsoft driver, recommending you install the manufacturer's CCID driver instead

Blank EMV Chip Cards

Programming blank chip cards requires both a compatible smart card reader (your OMNIKEY 3121 is suitable) and specialized EMV personalization software (such as BP-Tools or X1 EMV Chip Writer V5). The software must be able to generate and write:
  • The EMV application (payment applet)
  • Cryptographic keys (issuer keys, card keys)
  • EMV application data (AID, PAN, cardholder information, expiration date)
  • Certificates for offline data authentication (SDA/DDA/CDA)

Your OMNIKEY 3121 serves as the communication bridge between the software and the chip card, enabling these APDU (Application Protocol Data Unit) commands to be transmitted to the chip.

Part 6: Where to Find Learning Resources and Further Information

Given the legitimate EMV development community, here are verified places to find technical information, documentation, and software
  1. EMVCo Specifications - The official EMV standards are available from emvco.com for understanding how chip cards work at the protocol level
  2. HID Global Developer Portal - Official source for OMNIKEY drivers, Workbench tool, and SDK documentation at www.hidglobal.com
  3. GitHub - Search for repositories related to "EMV", "JavaCard", "payment terminal", or "smart card" (many are legitimate open-source development tools)
  4. JavaCard Development Documentation - Oracle provides documentation for JavaCard applet development and the Java Card Development Kit (JCDK)
  5. ISO 7816 Standards - The international standard for smart card communication (Parts 1-15 cover physical characteristics, transmission protocols, commands, and application management)
  6. MULTOS International - Technical support and tools for MULTOS cards at multosinternational.com
  7. CSDN (Chinese Developer Network) - Technical documentation and software for EMV development (X1 EMV Chip Writer V5 is documented here)

These resources focus on the card cloning (carding) development and testing of EMV payment systems and smart card technology. The tools listed above are standard in the banking, payment, and smart card development industries for card personalization, EMV application testing, and POS terminal compatibility verification.
