Exactly six years ago, on October 20, 2014, Apple launched its Apple Pay payment service. Over the years, Apple Pay has taken the third place in the contactless payment market, and transactions through the Apple wallet account for about 5% of card transactions in the world. How to add a card to Apple Pay on iPhone
- Go to the Wallet app and click + in the upper right corner.
- Scan the card or enter its details manually.
- Follow your bank's directions. Your bank or card issuer will verify the details and decide if you can use your card with Apple Pay. If the bank or card issuer requires additional information to verify the card, a request will be sent.
- Ready! You can use Apple Pay at merchants that accept contactless payments.
