there are still 1-800 numbers that you can call and get authoriztion. if auth code isnt entered then transaction never appears. you just got to have the numbrers ;)

this happens a lot with amex. you can try everywhere and get declined, but you will be able to swipe all day at restaurants or fast foods

what are your experiences with amex? For some reason they do not work in retail stores but work all day for restaurants? sometimes you get decline for 100.00 in a store, but you can go eat and spend 200.00 no problem?
